Dale's Bearded Dragons

We are a small breeder of Inland bearded dragons (pogona vitticeps)located in northern NJ.  We breed German giant, translucent, citrus, and high color normals.  All of our dragons are pets first and breeders second.  They are all members of our family and are treated as such.  I believe we offer the most pampered lizards on the market today.  If you are looking for the Nim's island lizard or the yellow spotted lizards from Holes, you have come to the right spot.

All of my beardy babies are raised on salad consisting of 2 different and varying greens, squash, pellets, and vitamin powder.  They are fed 1/4 inch crickets, silk worms, small goliath hornworms and occasionally wax and butter worms.  They are fed at least 3 times daily and are handled on a daily basis.  They are all started on and readily eating salad before being sold.  They are kept on paper towels that are changed daily and have a reptisun 10 UVB on them for 12 hours per day.

I don't believe in taking chances when it comes to impaction so my beardies are never fed meal worms, pinkies or prey that is too big.  They also live on either tile or paper towel depending on age and kept at the proper basking temps and get daily misting and at least 2 baths per week.  I don't believe in selling babies until they are at least 4 weeks old, the rule of thumb is either 6 inches or 6 weeks but all of my babies are at least 6 inches by 4 weeks old.  I will not sell a lizard until I believe it is strong enough to handle the stress of a different enviroment and shipping.
