Two 8-9" probable female red eared sliders are available for free to a good home. They are full of personality and they love to swim around backwards with their butts in the air (sorry, no pictures of that 
).
These turtles were rescued when very small from someone who was keeping them in the back of their SUV in the middle of winter and have received the best possible care over the past several years. It was known from the start that these would not be the right pets for the family but they could not be left to die under the conditions they were found in.
These turtles are not for resale!
The turtles can be picked up near Fresno California, or can be delivered up to 3 hours away to anyone that can provide a good, permanent home for them.
Their daylight bulbs, heat lamp, fixture and remaining food will be included.
If you are outside this area shipping for the turtles only can be arranged.

Please be prepared to explain what the setup is that you will be using to house these turtles will be before an adoption is agreed to.
