    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey how did that toad turn out. I am a toad keeper. That is the coolest toad I have ever seen. A dude on K/S has some Albino WoodHouse toads for sale. They were really cool too. As far as I know . I can't import them into my state. I can keep the native species. But Keep them is all I can do. That is what I would do with it. I would Keep it If I were you. Really cool toad.He looks healthy and alert in the pics.

Is that a valliceps? where was it caught, TX?

I live in Beaufort SC. I found him right outside of where I work. I'm pretty sure it's a Bufo Terrestris or southern toad according to what I found on the net. I see them all the time just never like this one.

I only put the pics of the toad here because I thought more people would see it. I wanted to see if anyone else on fauna had seen anything like it. I don't really know what it's worth or what people would even be willing to pay for it. Everyone that has replied told me not to sell it for cheap if I do. Not that I really want to sell it. I've seen toads like this all my life just never a morph like this. I don't know if I should try to breed it, but I am definitely going to look around a little more and see if I can find any other morphs.Thanks for all the input.

As a professional herpetologist, I would suggest you try and BREED the toad. He is an anomaly in nature, in that he should have fallen prey to a skunk or some other predator. It would prove VERY profitable to you in the long term.
An amazing animal....
Congrats on your find. :thumbsup:

No doubt it's leucistic, anyone that says it's not and then offers to buy it is trying to rip you off. Amazing toad, hold on to it if your good with breeding toads, if not, team up with someone that is and that you can trust.
