Greenwich mockingbird
It may be a little early so I'll bump this in about a month - but I'm seeking a breeding loan for the '08 season.
I'm seeking a male pac gopher. Preference is striped albino, but I would consider striped anything.
Details of the loan should be hashed out in public (trade forum?).
My female is a WC normal -

She is extremely docile and was docile when collected, unusual for pac gophers but not unheard of either. She has never even struck at me. She took f/t prey immediately and is an excellent feeder with healthy looking stool. Excellent behaviour phenotype for breeding.
Details can be hashed out and should be hashed out in public - but for a striped albino male, I'm willing to pay his shipping both ways and split the clutch (and I'd be willing to sell your share at an agreed upon price if you do not want them, that should be discussed before agreeing to the loan).
My preference would be for you to send me the male in spring, having brumated him yourself, but if necessary, I could take him in fall (I put mine down for brumation in November). I'd really rather not receive him until spring though.
Anyone out there who has a lonely male, please let me know.
