Almost Perfect Banded Cal King
$25.00
This Cal King almost has perfect banding, with just a single half band.
He is 100% het lavender, though I do not know which strain (I believe there are at least 3 different genes that cause lavender albinism - JD, JR, BEB, maybe others).
The mother was bred by and purchased from Brian Stockmyer of Checker Belly Farms.
The father is a normal collected from the wild by me in Redding, CA in 2004.
This little guy (sexed by probing) is feeding quite well on f/t pinks and is the best feeder from the clutch.
The Cal Kings up here in Redding have an interesting phenotype with their cream bands. They are virtually bone white down the spine of the back, but turn yellow just before the bands reach the belly. It seems that all the young in this clutch have inherited that interesting banding.
This snake is stock # 2007AB-03

Northern California people who wish to eliminate shipping charges, we can arrange to meet before the Sac Show if you have a safe place to put the snake (they won't let you take it into the show itself and I'm not vending). I will only be there on the 29th.
