    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You might want to take note that the seller's location is "Cape Town". As in, South Africa!
 
I just sent them a deposit on a pair of the giraffes and a Scimitar horned oryx they should be coming by FedEx or UPS on Tuesday- I'll let everyone know how it goes! Dr. Mooke is great to work with- I only had to send half the money now and I can send the rest after I get them!
 
Are you sure this isn't a scam? So hes shipping a pair of the giraffes and a Scimitar horned oryx from Cape Town (South Africa?) and they are supposed to be here within a week and he only wanted half the money up front? I really hop you didn't pay via western union or money gram.

Be sure to take pictures of the box the giraffes came in. I'm more interested in that than the animals. How many heat packs did it take?
 
Dr. Mookee is top notch!

Oh yeah it was a big box! My fed ex guy looked kinda pi**ed off dragging those crates up to the door! Not to mention the odor lol... of course he left them on the stoop and didn't even knock.

Everything was well packed the G-rafs were snugly packed in the biggest deli cups I have ever seen! and the Oryx was bagged up with lots of shredded paper for padding. The heat packs were huge and looked like pillows from a Giant's bed and were still quite toasty! Overall an A+ packing job.
