    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Within the next 24 hours, I will have to close this site temporarily while beginning the process of consolidating some servers. Somehow I've found myself in the position of having to maintain 4 separate servers at three different data centers, and it's getting too expensive to do that. So I need to shuffle some sites down so I can make this all more manageable technically and financially.

So this is just a FYI when you find you can't log into this site sometime soon.
 
Yeah, it's mostly done...

Having some problems with the photopost classifieds, and of course chat is dead.

Also some posts got dropped. The game plan had been for the server guy to copy everything from the old server to the new server, then have me lock the forum and recopy the data base. I don't think he realized how BIG the database really is, so I decided to just run with the original database. Maybe a half dozen posts got dropped, but I figured it was better than taking another 6 hours or so to complete the transfer.
