    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

With everyone having to pinch pennies these days because of the cost of gasoline, shipping, food, and the general doldrums of the economy, I decided to lower prices on banner and text ads across the board to only 50 cents per day.

Hope this helps your pocket book somewhat...... :D

I've been checking over the stats on some ads running here via FaunaAds, and was surprised to see that the 120x60 banner ads and the text boxes in the right hand margin are getting roughly 35,000 views PER DAY. I haven't priced advertising elsewhere, so is getting a million views per month for $15 a good deal? Let's see, that's 12,000,000 views for an entire year for about $183. Guess I've been living in the woods for too long, but that sounds like a LOT of potential customer views to me......... :shrug01:

The rotating banner ads are getting around 3K to 4K views per ad, so the total views are obviously dependent upon the total number of ads running in the particular zone. I've seen sites where large banner ads were replaced by fixed smaller ads, so maybe I should consider going to something like that during the upgrade of this site. It's really a fantastic deal, and I just might be taking advantage of it next year when I will have a lot more animals to sell (I've only got a handful left at this point). Some of it is going to be refreshes, though, unless you're counting unique hits. I have to admit I hover on the forum and check for new posts or replies to my classifieds a LOT. I have also looked at almost all of the ads that have come up, and checked out the sites--and have purchased from at least a few at some point.

I don't mind giving you a thumbs-up on this, Fauna is a fantastic advertising venue. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it for next year. :)

I think a few people are mad because I'm still ( allowed) to post here. I'll just leave now so everyone can get back to being ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY.. I'll never change who or how I am so no need to bring down a whole forum. Plus, I'd rather leave on my own then be banned for once!! Later friends and non friends..
