In Over My Head
New member
We have 2 mating pairs of golden crested geckos. And they were very busy this spring. We now have 6 babies (3 sets) born over the past 6 weeks with an additional 4 eggs due to hatch over the next 2 months. We are in "a little over our heads" on this venture. They were supposed to be just pets!
All 6 are very healthy and alert. Seems that 3 are kind of solid in color and 3 have more pattern. Don't know if this is sex related.
Looking for buyer(s) - at a reasonable price. We have sold a few of the prior babies to a local pet store but I believe we were ripped off ( barely covered price of crickets they ate!).
But we are "newbies" at this and will need a bit of training, as in how to safely ship. We are located in the suburbs of Chicago and would prefer to deliver personally. But we will ship as long as purchase is made in the next 2-3 weeks before the weather conditions begin to change.
If interested in making a reasonable offer for these cute little guys (and gals), please email at [email protected] I have no pics of them yet - they are spread apart in a 20 gallon tank. But I would be happy to separate and take pictures this weekend (even though they are faster than hell and can slip through the narrowest of places).
I've seen the prices online. I know what these little guys could sell for retail. So only contact me if you are willing to make a "reasonable" offer.
