    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has there ever been or do you think there ever will be a leucisitic boa either c/b or w/c?I would love to see one if they do exist.That would be the coolest boa morph hands down.Expensive but worth it considering that its a possibility of it being one of a kind until proven otherwise. If there is any pics (if any available) Please post them because i would love to see one. Regards Bill McLeod

More specifically Redtail Boas.I saw the ones that Jerry Conway has for sale (solomon island or isabel island boas) but didnt get a good look at it to see if i like it or not.Also to me it doesnt seem to be a true leucisitic in the sense of the word.I always thought that lecisitic was pure white with no other colors present in the appearance.I could be wrong but thats what i read and heard anyway.Although they say theres 2 forms of albino so why not leucism. Regards Bill mcLeod

Bill,

to my knowledge there are not yet any leucistic morphs of Boa constrictor ssp. The only leucistic boa of any kind I am aware of was a solid white leucistic rainbow boa that was pictured in a book on Albinos and other morphs a couple years ago.

And yes, you are correct in that a leucistic animal should be solid white with normal colored eyes. The only variation of this I've seen may be where leucistic animals are crossed with albinos and a couple generations down the line you end up with solid white animals sporting pink/red eyes.

The animals that Jerry Conway has I thought were hypomelanistic, right? I remember seeing one of them in person and it is sweet. But I also remember seeing pictures in his Candoia article in Reptiles back in '98(I think) where they were labeled Hypomelanistic. Either way, they are beautiful animals.

Heres a good photo too...
