In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hullo everyone,

I have been comtemplating purchasing my first snake and have finally decided upon a male Columbian Red Tail which I hope to be getting in a few months. And now I need references on breeders. Has anybody purchased snakes from either of these breeders? If so, what did you think of them? What condition were the snakes in when they came to you? Were they what you expected? Did the breeder seem concerned about their snake's well-being? Were they courteous and experienced, and did they help you on any after-purchase husbandry questions? Any information would be much appreciated as I'm fairly new to the snake community and would like to learn as much as I can about a breeder before I purchase a snake from them.

Sincerely,
Christina

I have purchased from Jeff Ronne in the past and was very happy with the service and quality of his Boas. They are honestly represented and healthy. The Boas I bought from Jeff have been thriving and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

I don't know Sharon personally but she does have an excellent reputation and seems very knowledgeable.

Hope this helps!

Enjoy your new herps.

Peace - TC

I have purchased from Jeff Ronne as well and I couldn't possibly say enough good things about him!  He simply has the best boas available!  And when he is suggesting other breeders, he suggests Sharon Moore.

I have spoken with sharon on occasion several times although I have not purchased from her.  I don't beleve I have ever heard anything bad about her...

Either way, you can't go wrong!

I have done business with Jeff on several occations now and everything has always gone superbly.  What else would you expect from the Boaphile extrodinaire!  He is a top notch breeder & cage builder.  Highly recommended!

This is my first post on the "new" BOI, so if my signature doesn't show up I'll post it below.

TWO OF THE BEST

Hullo,
You know you're the second person who has told me that.  That many people can't be wrong!  One boa from each is obviously the way to go <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>  And besides, think of all the name options!  Legolas and Gimli.  Boromir and Faramir.  Frodo and Sam.  Anduril and Narsil.  Saruman and Sauron.  (Is anyone starting to get the vibe that I am a LOTR freak in addition to being an animal freak?)
