In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My wife recently placed an order with the bean farm. After a little over a week we became a bit confused because no shipment notification had been sent to us. She checked with our bank and payment had went through to the bean farm so she called them. They said that they had not received payment and that the order would not be placed and that they would not return our money. She was extremly rude about the whole thing and that is no way to handel a business I should know I run one myself. We even faxed them a copy of our bank stuff stating that the payment had went to them. This is a warning to all that buy from the bean farm they lost our money and we received nothing but a serious headache.

I will keep you posted if they fix the problem! I have done business with them before and never had a problem, but I am disappointed in the way they acted towards my wife.

Sorry to here that you had trouble with the bean farm...I have never had a problem with them. I order all of my supplies from them...even though some places have better prices simply because the bean farm has better service.

What type of payment did you use?
Did you make Giovanni aware of this thread?
Are you positive that the payment went to The Bean farm?

Please post your the transaction info (e-mails and bank info). ;)

I'm surprised. I've done business with them and thought they had outstanding customer service. Hope you get everything sorted out.

I am sure if you show them some proof that you paid, they will ship you your products or refund you. People make mistakes and computers make mistakes also. It will be a hassle but you have proof through your bank that you paid. I would go from there.

I am positive that the payment went to them. I have called the bank to make sure the money was taken out and sent to them. She paid by debit card.

I would show the statement or printout (if you do online banking), or get verification from the bank with the confirmation number and bring it to their attention that way. Did you get an invoice from them stating what you ordered? I would bring that invoice number up also if you got one.

I too am a bit surprised... I have ordered alot from them and have always been happy. I hope they make this right.

i also never had any problems with the beanfarm ( couple with ups ) but they always dealt with great ease and such also help find cheaper ways for em to get stuff i asked about even if not with them..

I have known Paula and Giovanni, like forever.
It is not like them at all to not ship items paid for.(unless something is out of stock, which they would have told you.)
Something is missing in this story. I just can't put my finger on it.

Paula and Giovanni are some of the nicest people in the business. I am almost positive there is some lack of communication going on here. I have never hesitated to do business with them. I'd rather order from The Bean Farm than most any other supplier.

I concur. I've only made one order from them in the past, but it went by without a hitch. And Ive always heard good things about them.

I suspect there was just a fluke in their computers and your wife must have the poor luck of talking to someone low on the payscale. It doesn't excuse their rude behavior, in any case.

I too am very surprised to hear this. My girlfriend just made an order from bean farm a couple weeks ago (thermostat and heat tape) and everything was sent promptly, so I'm guessing it may be an isolated incident. Hopefully it'll all get cleared up very soon.

The transaction came out of my bank I am not sure what happened to it on there end. We have ordered from them in the past without a hitch, but this is the first time my wife had to get in touch with them and we were very disappointed with the way they acted. I don't know the owners personally, but they should address this matter. I am not sure who she talked to and I am not trying to run there name into the ground I just want my product shipped like it should be or a refund. I also feel that my wife deserves an apology. I just want them to make it right.

Do you have any emails from Beanfarm or from Paypal to back this thread up? I hope you are able to get your money back. I've personally have never had a problem with beanfarm
