Coir tank backgrounds

I have some coir backgrounds left from many years ago when I used to build these for shows. These are made with great stuff, black silicone and coir (coconut bedding) with some wood and extras built in. The backgrounds are non-toxic, can be soaked in water and easily cleaned. Each will include 4 strips of industrial strength (and I mean INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH!) velcro to attach these to your tank and they can be used horizontally or vertically. Can be used in tanks with cresties, day geckos, different frogs, etc...
Live plants such as pothos will attach themselves to the background or you can stick fake plants directly into the foam (but this will leave a hole when you remove the plants).

Those look really neat. Couple of questions to ask of you:

1. How fragile are those? [will the foam board hold up to being taken out, moved around etc.]

2. If displaying animals in them, how does one sanitize? [i.e. for baby turtles]

I have one that is bent up because it was stored wrong, so I stood on it to straighten it out...they are pretty sturdy. I have sprayed mine down with chlorhexidine (for the ones I have built into the cage). I have some hides I built the same way with the same materials and I just soak them in soapy water and wipe them with a sponge and let them air dry.
