    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

am I going to be a grandma or not???

Ok guys, I have two leo's who I just brought out of hibernation last week, and my female is either fat or gravid, these are the only lizards I have and I've only had them for a year, I really don't have much experiance with lizards.

are there tell-tale signs that she is pregnant? She does have a vien that is rather visable on her tummy which wasn't nearly as easy to see before hibernation.

any other general info would be quite welcome, I'll post pics when I have them

I hope you guys aren't sick of these "newbie" questions, sorry if you are, I guess I just trust you guys a little more than all the random info on the net...

thanks in advance

Hello,
It's nice to see more people getting into leos. There are a couple of ways to tell if your leo is pregnant or not. If the gecko starts getting fat and bulky and gets a lumpy looking stomach then it may be pregnant. After you notice the gecko getting fatter, put her in a clear bottomed container and look at her belly. If eggs are developing 2 white lumps (the eggs) should be seen through the gecko's underbelly. If you think that she is pregnant make sure to get the geckos some extra calcium suppliment to help in egg development.

Hope that helps.
