I have a custom desert vivaria display that I am selling to make room for wall system. This cage is in my living room and a great conversation piece.
The cage itself is a 48" Neodesha plastics cage, with tempered glass sliding doors. The interior has been painted and textured to give the appearance of Joshua Tree, CA. The cage has been in use for about 10 years, first housing a boa constrictor, and then about 6 years in it's current state. I successfully breed the resident Rosy Boas in it every year. (4 offspring currently for sale in other classifieds).
It is complete with a 36" Fluorescent light, basking light/dome, and night bulb/dome that I occasionally turn on for 'mood lighting'. The top flips open for access to the lighting fixtures. It also has a custom artificial rock work litter dam, and includes Flexwatt undertank heating.
Underneath the cage is a storage area I use for supplies. The cage itself splits in half for transport. The bottom has roller casters.
I'm asking $400 OBO. That does NOT include the thermostat, and interior decorations that will move to their new home.
It's an awesome display for Rosy's, and would work very well for other desert snake and lizard species.
Pick-Up only, located in Burlington, VT.
