    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

How about a search by location option

I was just thinking it would be nice to search ads by state/country. I dont know about the rest of the users but I would like to support my local breeders as a preference. It would be nice to have a search by location and the sell could just use a pull down menu to select his location. Plus local pick up options would be easier.

There was a prior request for this but I do not know where it was left at. :shrug01: Check earlier posts in the Feedback forum and see what was decided if anything.
 
Basically, I think it was tabled.
Initial discussion led to traffic justifying implementation + complication.
Then, Rich thought of the possibility of using prefixes (and tags?), but that would put the responsibility on the seller to actually use those features to get that benefit from the search filters.

:iagree:im all about keeping it local,im always looking for people around me to trade with or buy from.that idea is great for fauna.its about the only thing this site doesn't have(lol).:iagree:
