    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i started to breed rats and they are eating a bag of this pet store rat food every few days!
its costing me 6$ for 3.5 lbs of food.i can buy my adult rats froozen for 1$ each!!
i cannot see feeding them for 6 months for less the 1$ each.
any help would be great!

Do you have any feed stores, locally? Or pet stores that breed their own rodents? They may be good places to start looking for the 50 lb bags of rodent block. Ask them.

Albany Reptiles often has Harlan Teklad; and you can order Mazuri through the Country Value (in Nassau), or Tractor Supply (in Clifton Park, Glenmont, or Castleton)
 
Of course, the stuff still isn't cheap...if you want to buy in BULK, go right to the sources
