In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi- I am not sure if I am doing this correctly but here goes- I recently had the opportunity to purchase two corn snakes from Home Grown Herps. They arrived in fantastic shape, and looking even better than their pictures. Not only did he sell me two quality snakes- but he recommended one and that is really the most beautiful of the two! I would highly recommend Jim to any one looking to buy a snake!

I got some viper geckos a few years back from Jim and I was also very pleased with my purchase.

I agree - HomegGrownHerps has great corns

my 01 corn from him is great... sweet temperment, eats great, beautiful colors, and he was at a very reasonable price when I got him.

I hate to do this, but unless the originator of this thread takes note of the warning (which issues an email and a PM) and puts his/her real name in here, this thread will be deleted pretty shortly.

The only reason I haven't already done so is because it is the first post from a new user.

But darn I get tired of having to point people to the rules here.

I am sorry I did not include my name in my post. It's Cynthia Peticolas and I am still not sure where I am suppose to include it. I use the name ORherper when I am on forums. Again- I will try to understand the rules- however, being fairly computer illeterate- I don't fully understand them. Cynthia Peticolas from Oregon

agree great guy

He sold me a male AFT last summer and he has doubled in size and still very healthy and a great breeder. He is everything i was told he would be and more.
Packaging was fabulous!!! 2 thumbs up ;)

I bought a snow motley and a snow stripe from Jim, and he was a great guy to deal with... I would not hesitate from buying from him again.

I bought a pair of Stillwater hypo bulls from Jim last year and I purchased another pair of bulls from him this year. A flawless transaction last year and I must say that after finally getting a chance to speak to him over the phone, I found Jim to be quite honest, straight forward and very helpful. He pulls no punches...I like that. He'll always have my business! Good man. I should be getting my new bulls sometime soon. I can't wait!!!

Cynthia- there's a feature under the link at the top that says 'user CP' at the top where you can make a 'signature' that puts your name at the bottom of each post. The rule only goes for this particular forum, just because we want to know who everyone really is. I just type my name at the bottom each time, though.

I purchased my pastel motley and my anerythristic from Jim and I agree that he was a great person to deal with. The snakes are beautiful and great to handle. I plan on breeding them in the future. He was very helpful, just a "good guy".:) :D

Thank you for not deleting this thread, Rich. :) It reminded me that I hadn't given Home Grown Herps the reference they deserved!

I recently purchased a 1.2 trio of ghost corns from Jim. I've purchased other animals before but none were packaged like these were. They were in specific deli cups with labels and color dots to tell me which snake and which sex they were, in an well packaged and insulated box. I was awestruck. It felt like I had gotten them from a very professional place. :)

Jim is very prompt in his emails and very thorough in every detail of the transaction. I also would not hesitate to buy snakes from him again.

I just got my Stillwater hypo bulls. It's 10:20 in the morning and I'm doing cartwheels! These bulls are AWESOME!!! Another flawless transaction. Way to go Jim! Again, you will always have my business. Thanks!

A few more words of praise....

I recently purchased 2 1.1 pairs of cb 2003 corns from Jim Keenan. I also ordered a few of his awesome T-shirts and decals. Jim is a very easy guy to deal with. He shipped when he said he would. Unfortunately, two of my snakes died en route. Jim has agreed to give me credit on the two, towards his remaining stock, or this years hatchlings. This is a man of his word. I can count the people in this business I would send money to without worry on one hand. Jim Keenan is certainly one of those fingers.
Just FYI
Dan Vermilya @ Serpents by Dan Vermilya
Sundial Reptile/Loren & Dana Pennebaker

are the other two I can think of right off.

well... well... well

Guess who made good on his word? That's right, Jim Keenan. This guy is tops.
I recieved another order from him today. This man knows his corns and they show it. Again, don't hesitate to buy from this man, or I might buy it first. He's as honest a person as you will find.
