    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Purchased 2.2 hondurans last year, got 3.1 (both "females" were "proven", ive yet to figure out how to get eggs out of a male milkesnake)

Was told they would let me know when they had "more for sale".

After some screaming they agreed to purchase a female for me, and swap it for the extra male. This was september of last year, for the past 6 months or so they have decided to ignore emails and voice mail messages from me.

I want my D*MN female milksnake.

They sometimes sell under other names on other classifeids sites.

Sorry to hear about your situation. It stinks being jerked around like that! Do you have any other specific info on them (numbers, location, etc,)? Maybe someone else lives near them and could help?!?!?
 
kezfarms.com they are (were?) a well known croc breeder, numbers can be found on there site.

I will be stopping by in augest if i dont get it by then.
 
What really pissed me off is when they told me they would let me know when they "had more for sale".

Like im going to buy another female, when the last female was a male.

This response is more importantly for everyone else out there regarding the Cory Sawyer complaint:


First things first Kezfarms is one of the largest crocodile farms in the United States. We are currently working with 12 species of crocodiles and are a large importer of other exotic repiles. Furthermore, i do not post under any name other than Kezfarms which currently is in the process of changing its name to Crocafeller Reptiles. There is always more than one side to every story, MR. Sawyers has been heard and now i would like mine to be heard as well. Cory Sawyer purchased 2.2 Honduran milk snakes from me, over a month after he recieved his shipment Mr. Sawyer made a hostil threat over the phone regarding his disappointment with what he had recieved. Had Mr.Sawyer contacted me with his issue upon delivery ( which any real reptile breader would have done, after probing the snakes to verifiy sexuality) i would have gladly replaced one of the male Honduran with a female. However his "problem" was not brought to our attention until more than a month after the sale was completed. I do not know of any wholesaler who will give a 30 day gaurantee, sorry standard is live arrival or 24 hours. I made the threat to turn robbie over to the USPS for fraud, only after he told me I could BUY A female when he had more, instead of replacing it. Then he told me they never said such (i made him go check the emails he sent me, and yes he did tell me that). After I made the threat he agreed to send me a female, this was around september of 2002.

I didnt sex them because I trusted you, because your "such a big company" and these were "proven", if figured if they both laid eggs for you, they were certainly female.

I bought 2.2, you sent 3.1, you promised to get me 0.1 more and you never did.

I dont care how "big" you are, Enron was pretty big at one point, but yeah im sure they are just as honest as you are.

BTW Robbie why not answer the emails I have been sending you (From many differnt accounts) over the last 6 months?

Why not replace the snake like you said you would? Can you please answer that for me?
 
I also want to point out that Robert Keszey has a long criminal record with notes such as "Maximum Risk". I wish I knew this before i bought my "proven breeder milksnakes".

You are absolutely right. Anyone in the business of buying or selling snakes should be able to sex them properly. This mistake can happen either due to improper sexing itself or because the wrong snake was sent by mistake (although this demonstrates quite poor record keeping and attention to detail). One way or the other it has to be corrected.

The only concerns are: a. when too much time has gone by (one month is not too much time) and b. when the seller is not able to recognize the snake as his. That's why I feel pictures are a must when selling herps on-line.

You can probably guess what most of the people reading this thread is thinking about this statment: "...He should have sexed them regardless of whom they were coming from..."

The issue of sending the wrong sex has been discussed in extent in the thread below. The opinions differed as with regards to the responsibility of the seller, particulalry depending on the time elapsed.

While I agree with you about sexing regardless of who the animal comes from, the fact that they were "proven" should negate the usual conditions here.

How does a male snake lay eggs to become a proven female?

One month does not seem an unreasonable time to quarentine a "proven" group of animals and then prepare to breed them, only to then find out the reality of the situation.



If the seller honestly shipped the wrong animal, what does it say about the seller if they can misplace a "proven" animal that they have up for sale, and not know it!

In this instance I was giving Mr. Keszey the benefit of the doubt, assuming he could have sent a male instead of a female by mistake. That could happen if the 2.2 were picked up from a larger group of breeders, and an honest mistake was made at the time of choosing them. But that's wht I also said:

Thing that im upset about now is that he promised over and over to get me a female, and has done nothing

I did not (i do now) see reason to sex "proven" breeders from a person I turst.

He enver questioned if they were his animals or asked for pictures. He just told me i coud buy more, after I threated to go after him for fraud, he offered me another female. That female has never been delivered.

Corey - I got a call today from someone claiming to be an attorney for Mr. Keszey, claiming that this statement is untrue and considered defamatory.

Obviously there is a conflicting claim here considering the accuracy of your statement, so I think it would be wise for you to state the verifiable source of this information HERE. Anything other than a verifiable source (and if it is through another person, you will have to provide this person's name) is unverifiable hearsay. If it is through a third party, THAT person will need to post the information here under their own name for it to be acceptable.

Unfortunately, I cannot allow anything of this nature that cannot be backed up with facts upon demand to stand on this board.

Please comply with this request as soon as possible.

Not to say anything about either party in this situation, but ALWAYS SEXE the animal when it arrives no matter who it is from. I don't care if it comes from the LARGEST breeder in the World. Mistakes can happen to everyone sometime.
