    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well, I had my first incident with a "deal gone bad." I had posted a 1.0 adult male ball python for sale on reptibid. Well, he was bid on and one for $70 by this individual (known as Mueagle on the site). He/she asked to wait to make payment until 05-23-03 for money reasons, and I agreed (I'm not a nasty person, I understand waiting for paychecks). When no payment arrived (I ONLY deal with Paypal) I emailed the individual. They told me they had gotten "laid off" that day (day payment was supposed to be received conveintly) and couldn't pay, but offered a boa in trade. I refused, went on reptibid gave them a negative feedback for not paying and dragging out the whole thing, waisting my time and reposted the animal...Then...I get an email an hour or so ago from the webmaster saying I sent an animal to this RYAN NEUBAUER that was "tick infested," not what I had the picture up of, etc.

So, what does everyone think? What to do next? I defended myself to the webmaster and am patiently waiting for a response. Depending on how this is dealt with, I may have to recommend NO ONE use reptibid for this reason. No protection for the seller...

Ben has Baranquilla local Colombian boas.

This Ryan guy is selling "Baranquilla locale specific redtails" on Kingsnake.
what is the difference you ask? the ad is "somehwat" misleading.
I was not paying attention and was seriously interested in his animals. That is until someone pointed me out to the fact that TRUE redtails do not originate from Baranquilla.

Anyway I asked the guy if they were captive bred or farmed.

He says they are captive bred from Ben Suigel's Baranquilla facility. Wanna know what that means? It means they are really farmed. Either this guy does not know the difference or he will say anything to make a sale.

I guess that is also why he is charging double the price as Ben.
Because Ben's arre colombian...while ryan's are "locale specific redtails"
 
Those are indead farm raised Baranquillas from Ben seigel,because ,i bought them from Ben,and Ryan bought them from me!!..I would have to assume they are anyway,considering he is using my pic's in his ad!!
I had them on reptibid also..the reserve was not met,but we worked out a deal off auction...He did paypal...although not for that kind of money!!

Heads up......You should really change your signiture so that it automatically diplays your full name with every post. You forgot to include your first and last name with a couple of posts within this thread. The webslave may delete all of the posts that do not include your full name.
 
I don't see why I need to do that considering in the original post my name is stated there, and it's not like I changed usernames.

I'm new at this but thanks to Stephanie.....I'm learning. I forgot to put my full name on my first messages.

I encourage everyone to consider and hear both sides of any story before commenting on someone he or she doesn't even know.

Here's my side....Unfortunatly, Stef continues to be misleading with her comments thus far. I bid on and won a ball python Stef had pictured and indicated that it was a CB snake. I paid her and received the snake in due time. Upon arrival the snake was a female (she said it was a male), it was infestited w/ ticks, and it appeared to be quite malnourished. My experience told me that this was a WC animal. Not only did it appear to be WC, but it was not the animal pictured in the auction.

I cancelled the payment. Friendly Stef found out and decided to get petty and entered a negative comment about me on Repti Bid. I did the only thing I could do and that was to enter a comment about her. She saw this comment and threatened me with the BOI. Although I have been in the reptiile trade for several years, I had never even heard of the BOI. I quickly discovered what it is.

Friendly Stef didn't stop with the BOI. She tracked down my phone number and began leaving threatening and obscene messages on my family's answering machine. I have a small child. Now b/c of her antics, she will have to answer to the U.S. Department of Commerce.

My advice....Stef is an inherently evil person and a dishonest reptile trader. She should be avoided. I have a number of referances available, including officials at Repti Bid.

Considering I posted messages directly from the webmaster at reptibid, I find this quite amusing. How about you just run along and go on with your way. FURTHER MORE, the ONLY reason why you posted on this thread is because I posted it on your new username sellers account warning AGAINST you.

The snake in question (who is currently and happily warming himself after just being fed) is still here, recent pictures were actually just posted on bobclark.com (http://www.bobclark.com/bcforums/to...ne+1st+Photo+Shoot!&Forum_Title=Picture+Forum). So tell me, how is this snake in question in YOUR hands (and it is indeed a HE)?

The only thing in truth you said was that you bid and won the snake. THOUGH FAILED TO MAKE PAYMENT AND WAISTED MY TIME FOR 2 WEEKS. Sadly, the day the webmaster contacted me with YOUR false alagations (and you DID lose in case you haven't noticed) I had deleted all of your emails a few hours before (the minute after you decided you were "layed off" and couldn't pay up). Once you received negative feedback, you threw a fit, decided to be immature and falsely accuse me of absurd things. And now I called you up and threatened you? Wouldn't waist my time on such scum. Sorry, you're nothing to me. Why not just fess up, be a man (or woman, whatever you are) and admitt you bid and couldn't pay up as you were supposed to.

I really don't believe you have a child. Someone so stupid and immature I think is incapable of producing another being. But then, wonders do happen.

BTW, how could you cancel payment when I only accept money orders and paypal? I also do not ship until the money is safely in my bank account. Tell me please, where is the proof in that? You couldn't provide it for the webmaster at reptibid. You ignored his inquiries. THUS YOU WERE BANNED.

Stop this crap, please. You're lies are getting you no where.
