Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What do you all use??

This is my first time attempting to raise a colony for my cresties.

I didn't have much success with latts.
I used a sterilite contanter - but it was too humid in there for them and the colony crashed. They need to be kept in a fairly dry enviornment, and I think the container was holding too much moisture - even with a lot of air holes in it.
If you have an extra 10 gal or a critter keeper with a screen top, I would try using that.

Thanks, Jaden!!

I am using the sterilite, but I'm cutting a window on the short side and adding screening bound with duct tape, so that should take care of the humidity problem.

I also got some heat tape at the hardware store and a rheostat at PetSmart, so I'm going to rig that up on an old TV stand to give them the heat they need.

Crossing my fingers for success with this idea.
