I would like to find a good home for a captive bred Hermann's Tortoise (born 2008). Asking $50.
I do not have a way to determine gender on this tortoise, but the breeder incubated at higher temperatures to increase the likelihood of females. The tortoise has an extra scute.
If you are local to the Indianapolis, IN, area, I can meet you say within an hour drive of Indianapolis and will provide the UV and heat lights, and enclosure, for free. If you are not local, then I will send only the tortoise without any of the housing/equipment, and it must be shipped via USPS EXPRESS or UPS next day air at your cost. I regret any inconvenience, but I will not ship this tortoise in any method other than a next-day service. I can get you a shipping quote based on your zip code.
Please be prepare to provide a healthy, quality habitat for a tortoise of this type.
