    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This post is to inform others about Matt Lerer, Ghi Reptiles. He is a very good guy and a very valuable asset to the reptile market. He supplies us with some of the best animals out there. Even though he didn't have what I wanted available, he turned me onto to someone who did. There is a person out there with a grudge against Matt for unfounded personal reasons. This guy has tried to give Matt a bad name. I want this post to serve as positive information for anyone who may be planning on contacting Matt. Thanks, and feedback is requested and appreciated.

We recently had a transaction with Matt as well and agree with the positive feedback. The amount was fairly substantial and apparently triggered a security response thru Paypal. We emailed Matt, explained our dilemna and apologized for the delay, particularly since the animals were to be hand delivered today. Several frustrating hours and 2 conversations with Paypal customer service later, we were totally frustrated and no closer to getting the funds sent. At midnite on Friday, we gave up, called Matt and asked if we could delay. He was completely understanding and easy to work with.
Surprisingly, Saturday morning the funds went thru with no problem and he delivered our trio today.

Thru all of this, Matt maintained a pleasant and positive attitude and the animals were better in person than the pics. Thanks again Matt for your patience, the stunning animals and it was a pleasure meeting you.

Can't say enough good things about Matt.  He is truely a one of a kind in this biz.  Do you know of anyone who would send you an animal knowing that no money has been sent his way yet?  but it is know though.  

Honest, great animals, and great all around fun guy.
 
I agree, Matt is a GREAT person to do business with..he is extremly fair and has a good eye for quality.  Matt has made me happy customer many times over and I highly recommend him to anyone considering a purchase.  There aren't many people out there that will go to the extremes Matt does.  Ghi Reptiles is a great source for high quality animals and service...not an easy combo to find these days.
