    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Pastel female with Mojave eyes??

Hey guys,
I got a small 120g female today who was sold as a pastel. I was looking her over and noticed that she had the gold stripe through her eyes like a mojave. Anyone have any ideas at all?

Alot of ball pythons have that stripe, actually. But she's for sure a pastel. A beautiful one at that. :thumbsup:

Looks pastel to me better body pics would help... I actually have a Pastel that the top half of her eyes are green and the bottom half are black if I was working with a cam that had more than 5 mega pixels ( yes I know I need to update that as well LMAO ) Id be able to take non blurry pics that would show what Im talking about better I'll try and snap a few shots and see how they look

The stripe through the eye is whats he's reffering to... not the stripe on the head Im sure if Im wrong the Op will correct me and please do so If I am wrong.
I was simply implying that I had a pastel that was simular to the one th OP has asked questions about. Now the one Im speaking of (mine) eye is split by a very fine line that divide's the actual eye color in half
 
Yeah the stripe thru the eye is what I'm wondering about. I don't know if that is any indicator of some other genetic trait or just something that happens. I'll get some more pics later when I get home.
 
That's typical pastel eye color :thumbsup: Here are some of the Pastels I've had. It can vary a little but they all have some type of goldish green to full on green eyes.

Thanks everyone! Thats very helpful. Ive been in Beardies for the last 7 years and now I have started to work with balls and their genetics are much more....fluid...and less a+b = c for me at the moment. Ive been reading up, and if anyone knows any big BP people in the Seattle area, point me to them!
