Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ANYONE breed asian vine snakes? or have a large-lot available?

Hey all,

I've been on the lookout for some asian vines for a long time now with no success. Very few people at the recent shows have had them, with LLL reptile being the only one who consistently carries them....but I have yet to find any reasonably healthy specimens; all of them have scale rot, visible wounds, etc. Even then, it is usually only 1 or 2 animals at best.


I am looking for some HEALTHY ones, preferably CBB but that seems all but impossible. Is anybody is breeding these snakes?

Even if I can't find CB, I am still looking for a good sized lot of WC *healthy* animals....ideally a "breeding lot" size. I am interested in attempting a breeding project.


If anybody knows of a good source for either CB or large-lot of asian vine snakes, I would highly appreciate the reference. I am interested in ahuatella prasina, ahuatella nasina, or any similar snakes.

Still very interested to find anyone with these snakes

I know they aren't very common but someone out there works with them! I have seen at least one set of photos of captive birth (in an exo terra tank :p)...that can't be the only example... :\



For those of you that own these snakes....where do you get your feeders? Do you or have you considered breeding anoles/geckos? I don't imagine it would be too difficult but I haven't looked much into it
