    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Got two in the Corn Snakes for sale and one in the Leopard Geckos for sale sections. No doubt at all that the ads are getting a lot more views than they would otherwise.

Oh, there is one thing I did discover though. YOU cannot edit the topic line, only the text of the message itself. So if you are planning on trying this out, plan accordingly.

I have decided to lower the price on these highlighted ads to only $5 per month. Bear in mind, though, that the topic line CANNOT be edited by you, so be sure you make the ad generic enough so that if you sell your item the first day, you aren't caught flat footed with an ad that will not help you much over the next 29 days.

If there is enough demand for this capability, I will talk to my programmer about implementing it, but he has already told me that it will take quite a bit of coding to put this feature in here.

At this point, I don't see any point to spending the money for that feature until it is warranted to do so.
