    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

this is the win32/klez.H@mm.  to get rid of it I went to  www.pc-cillin.com and downloaded their free trial and it took it out,  I am soo sorry to anyone I have emailed.

the www.pc-cillin didnt work....I just got rid of it...I went to
AVG antivirus and downloaded their free protection,  took care of it
 
Hey!  I got hammered with two that my norton did'nt pick up.  Sorry to those that get e-mails from me.  The viruses were identified as  WORM_KLEZ.gen  and   W32/Klez.gen@MM  My email is down and I'm ridding the bastards now!  Watch out everyone update your virus protection!
 
I didn't want to start a new thread and this may not be related but I have been receiving a ton of anonymous emails with *.zip attachments.  The attachments have different names but always a .zip.  Obviously I did not download the files and have checked my system which is clean.
 
The ones I have been getting is .scr

someone out there has my addy and they have the virus....
I know the virus puts a different e-mail addy on the e-mail...then sends it out.

I received one supposedly from me....when I hit the details button....the return path was to someone else...
 
how I got rid of the klez virus...wet to AVG antivirus downloaded their free antivirus protection,  it scanned cured, all better now.

I played hell getting rid of the virus that we got.  Now my outlook express won't work at all!  When I click on new mail, it pops up an error message and I don't know how to get it going again.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm dumber than dumb when it comes to computers!
