To Kim,Neil,Tom and all others,

Because  of a recent emergency regarding the health of a family member close to me,I was forced to put up snakes for sale when I was ill prepared to do so and ALSO deal with the drama that comes with someone being terminally ill in my family.  In my rush to sell some of my snakes,I inadvertently posted the wrong date as the length of time they were in my collection. They were in fact purchased around Oct30,2001 and have been in my collection for about 4 1/2 months as of this writing. Jason IS correct in that. I have pulled and changed the ad to relect the 4.5 months.

AS FOR THE LETTER that Jason SAVED and printed here, it WAS from me. I had contacted Jason in October of 2001 concerning the purchase of 1.1 Mad Ground boas from a then unknown to me source for snakes . Jason knew the guy and  at the time I trusted his opinion as he keeps Dumerills and lives back EAST, as does THIS individual. Basically, I was asking him what he thought of the guy, since he lived on the same coast as Jason and Jason had knowledge of him.
Not to long after this Jason asked me to pick up some snakes for him, as he would have been buying them "sight unseen" and wanted my opinion as to their state of health. Because of time restraints and distance,I never did pick them up and ship them to Jason and his girlfriend Christine.

Between that time and now a lot has transpired between Jason and myself. He has defended Bill Cagle, his good friend and business associate, even in light of the way he treated a customer of his , one Kemper Ruth, which was pretty lousy.
And agian he defended him, in light of the I.b.d. controversey that swirled around Cagle and others.



Since I asked him that question, my opinion of Jason has diminished greatly. He is an outspoken critic of people around him that dont agree with him, and he vehemently defends people that , quite frankly, we all know to be not good individuals. He has defended Bill Cagle MANY times and will doubtelessly do so in the future . I have no respect for Jason, and Jason in turn has no respect for me. Dealing with an  life threatening illness or surgical procedure  in ones family is NEVER easy, especially when you have #### heads like this guy takeing the opportunity to be the"moral vangaurd" for the herp community. I am NOT angry that he corrected me on the dates,no, more so that he would post an email that I sent him to glorify himself as some type of guru  simply because I asked his opinion and at the same time try to entrap me in a lie Frankly, if he was going to entrap someone, the FIRST
Person he ought to cry wolf over is his good friend:

but that never happens, because that would mean that JASON would have to align himself against someone that is seeminly bigger than he is. which he doesnt do.

He writes well, and for this reason, if no other wil come across seeming factual. Jason is very opinionated
The reality of this situation is simply this:

Jason is a virtual unknown in reptile breeding circles, and he comes on here to do 2 thingsefend his good friend Bill Cagle and put me down.

I NEVER ,ever have people mention him to me. Not when talking reptiles, not when talking about anything. And frankly, I have gotten into a habit of not mentioning him to anyone, which is cool, because they wouldnt knw who the heck I was talking about anyway.

In the scheme of things, Jason from Jusdums is really nothing.
Just another guy that picked the wrong horse to back and did so even when it broke down the pasture fence. Jason is smart, to be sure, but just dumb enough to continue being the same type of person that he has been since Nov of 2001.
A virtual unknown whos calling card is his defense of the indefensible and is better known for his use of rock lyrics as put downs.   This guys is a real peach.

Folks,

Kemper Ruth bought a Surinam Boafrom Bill Cagle.
He is young, 17 years old at the time.
The Snake arrived at his house and had  multiple LUMPS
in the neck.Kemper attempted to contact Bill Cagle but
had no success.
 When he finally did make contact with him, Cagle told him that the injuries probably "occurred" dureing shipment.
He grudgingly agreed to refund the lads money in full.

Kemper was told to ship the snake back to Bill. He did so. The snake arrived on Bill porch. Bill Cagle claims that because of the negligence of the carier, the snake was left out there with no one to sign for it...and died...... Bill mentioned going after the shippping company for negligence on their part for the value of the snake............
Fair enough...........

                    About 3 weeks later, this same "DEAD" snake is posted for sale on Kingsnake.com classifieds for sale!
It had been Resurrected!! And this time without the LUMPS
in the neck! Amazeing!
Kemper posted a complaint of it here, got bashed by Cagle and a few of his former customers, and of course by Jason, who is Cagles biggest female dog to date! Cagle was asked to post pics of the dead snake, took forever to do so and when he did , it didnt appear to be the same snake at all.Mmmm..

I defended this kid against Cagle, and had guys like Jason and Jason put me down because of it.

The kid involved had ALLREADY owned and purchased snakes from REPUTABLE sources i.e. Al Baldago,Gary Sipperly,Bill Parks,Randy Wright,Notah Howe...all without one glitch in the purchase. He payed top dollar for HIGH QUALITY snakes from good sources, i.e. Tiger Retic,Suriname boas(c/b),Yellow head Retics.

SO... The picture that Jason paints is one of some kid that just spent to much whose mother wanted him to "return" the "expensive snake" is not TRUE and is factually false.
THE...."REAL" picture is that this poor kid was unlucky enough to purchase a snake from one of the reprehensible BROKERS of Boas in THIS country, namely Bill Cagle,
                             and that
JASON from Jus Dums,Bills good friend, defends him at every turn, no matter what..

  Jason is Bills Friend, and a mighty good one at that.

My male Madagascar Ground boa?
He was purchased from Joe Debewski, was ALWAYS a fussy eater and has at times refused food for long periods of time.As of late he has eaten on his own, without scenting techniques, split braining or any of the other tricks that I had to employ to get him feeding. So far I have gotten 4 good meals down him without employing "tricks" to do so. I offer him food every other day, in hopes that he will take it and take off. When Joe had him, he onkly ate like 4 times.

I think that pretty much covers that.

Its like I said earlier. Would you deakl with this guy on any level?

This is not a contest between choosing between myself and Jason. it wasent the biggest blunder of all times and nobody is going to concern themselves about the exact date of the purchase.
