What's up with Have-A-Herp ?

They have several snakes posted in kingsnake.com. I have been trying to get a hold of them through e-mail but they never respond. Are the adds for real?

  I have also emailed them a number of times and never got a response. I have also saw where someone inquired on them and no responses were givin.

Daniel and Joe.....I've ALSO emailed them a couple of times with NEVER a response!!! You guys do what you want, but...I wouldn't do business with them if they were offering Albino Balls for $50!!!

Haveaherp did respond to 1 of my emails. Angela said she does not accept paypal, only checks or M.O.s.  So I put up an inquiry here and received no response. So I chose not to follow up. Casey

I am in the process of purchasing from her now. I have emailed her asking about her lack of responce to some other people. She has told me the main reason is because of the viruses floating around and people not reading terms in the ad. She also provided me with a reference upon request. I am not saying you should do business with her. This is just my experience.

 So, she did get our emails. Well, to me then, thats bad business practices. My email contained only this: 1) A offer. My offer was higher than her last price reduction. 2) References 3) How she shipped 4) and NO download attached. So, what "terms" was I breaking ? Getting info. ?Now, I see Daniel, Casey and Neil post here and Kingsnake. I have done business with all 3 and know them to be honest herpers. I also post ALOT on Kingsnake as well. She could of easliy went to our ads or here and emailed us, if she felt there was a virus attached and asked. I know with all the viruses going around you have to be careful. But what was sooo different from our emails than yours ? Im not bashing you and I know your only stating what you've been told. So, don't take it the wrong way. Its just her explanation just raises more "questions" for me, then answers. Let us know how your deal works out. Good Luck.

I have not finished the purchase from her yet. I am still not sure I will. I called her reference (rmj reptiles) but have not gotten a responce from them yet. I sent a small deposit to hold my animals but after hearing she did not respond to other peoples emails I was concerned. Also the address she has to send payment to is an apt. #. That seemed a little strange to me because who has room for that many snakes in an apt? I guess she could have a shop but then why not recieve payment there. I asked about c.o.d. and she was not willing although I can provide references to my being a good dependable customer. Of course a lot of people (understandably) will not do c.o.d. I am going to see what her reference has to say. If it is good I will give it a try. If not I am only out a deposit instead of the full amount. Either way I will keep you posted. I hope I did not upset anyone. I was just giving you her reasoning. I am new in this field and I agree she should respond to her emails. That is only logical anytime you are in any kind of business.

Her reference contacted me and they did not even know her. he said he sold her animals once but that is it. I will not be doing business with her after all. There are plenty of other good deals going on for ball pythons to worry about this one. If anyone does do business with them I wish you luck. I never got a phone #. As I said before her address is an apartment which also makes me leary. I just do not think you could fit that many snakes in an apartment. It would be overcrowded and where would you put them to quarintine them? I have a hard enough time finding room and I have a large house.

I have every animal I claim to have! Most of the ball pythons are kept in reptile racks in one of the rooms of the apartment. The rest of the animals are kept at my fiancee's house (in his garage actually). The bulk babies are ordered delivered and then upon arrival shipped. Thus I do not have to store them at all. I am not a big name breeder and thus cannot provide very many references. I do however have every animal I state I do and am offering the ones I want to sell for sale.

in reference to angela from have a herp,,,i have recieved e-mail back from her and have actually talked to her boyfriend on the phone.. he sounds lie he knows what he is talking about,,,i know they are interested in doing trades on just about anything,,i sent them a nintendo 64 and a sega dreamcast and 65$$$$ yesterday for 1.3 het ghosts,,,i didnt pay anyting for the games so if something goes wrong im only out 65$$,,but this is what i think,,,i think they are new to the game and just trying to make a name for themselves((which nothing is wrong in doing that))) if everything goes well then i will do business with them somemore,,,i have plenty of money,,so if i get screwed((which i dont think i will))then they have lost someone who isnt afraid to shell out money...normally i deal with Ralph Davis,, he just didnt have what i wanted at this time  TAKE A CHANCE SOMETIMES,,,IT COULD BE WORTH IT))

What I believe is a virus is going around in kingsnake's emails. They appear in my inbox as blank emails with part two attachments most of which are exe files. I believe that it gets into your email and then forwards itself to others using your email addy. so far I have received them from neils     from the abuse email at kingsnake  and also from coastal   just to name a few. I have deleted about 40 of the things so far and usually just have the system forward emails from those email addys straight to the trash. I use my address because that is where I am   as I work nights and am usually sleeping or poking around on the puter during the day   i am there for any deliveries    my fiancee works as an adjuster and is in his vehicle about 80% of the time so it is hard for ups to keep up with him for any deliveries.   ;-)   Believe it or not living in an apartment does not mean that a person cannot have animals....and if they do it right they can even have healthy animals.    seen on discovery channel about a woman who had 40+ cats in a two bedroom apt.   not healthy at all but she really did have them  i believe it was pet cops or something like that that it was on.
all of my animals are well taken care of ....... new arrivals are kept at my fiancee's house and then we decide if they go to my apartment or the garage after quarantine. If anyone has a problem with my references or lack there of     or on my being cautious about attachments in my email   then they do not have to do business with me.  I am not going to ruin a very expensive computer over a few hundred dollar or less animal(s).
I did not reply here before now because I did not know about this site. I have not seen any banner ads to it or anything on kingsnake.com      
if this is so great I would think it would be plastered all over kingsnake      don't get me wrong i think this is a great idea   but if you do not hear about it on kingsnake  there is not many other places a person is going to...   i only advertise on kingsnake  i do not use free classifieds sites  or any other fee ones    kingsnake is it   and I did not see even one advertisement for this site on it so until someone emailed me about this one I never knew about it.
