    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yesterday (5/7) I had 8 snakes stolen. This was in NC. Among the stolen snakes were a very gravid Stillwater hypo Bullsnake, a pair of N.Pines, female Cave Rat, female Ladder Ratsnake, male Leopard Ratsnake, and a pair of Sinaloan Milks. I believe someone locally may have taken them and they probably do not even know about this site or use the internet for reptiles but if anyone knows anything please let me know. Thanks--Scott

John....I'm really sorry to hear about that! Seems like it's hitting everyone these days....but, John..... DETAILS, man!!!
You can't just say someone stole my snakes, help me find them??? Where, How, When, Under what circumstances, How many people were involved, were they stolen from your car, your house, your store?<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> DETAILS, man!!
You KNOW that everyone will at least TRY to help....Neil

I think he's talking about at the NC show last weekend.  I heard about other people getting stuff stolen there too.  it's hard to watch everyone like a hawk at a crowded show.
awful.

Hello Scott,

Sorry to hear about your loss, that really stinks.  What part of NC are you from?  I am in western NC and deal in lots of snakes, both nationally and locally, so if you give me a list of what was stolen and as much detail as possible I will let you know if I come across anything.

If thosesnakes were stolen from a show then thats an awful lot of snakes to be stealing and running away with, that sounds like it would be impossible.

Here's the details of the theft. They were stolen from my snake room at my house between the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm. I teach school and someone probably knew I would not be there. They mainly focused on bright colored snakes. They got some boxes out looked at the snakes then passed them over. It seems that only one person did this, they seemed to of only taken what they could carry. People know I have snakes but few know where they are at. I have some suspects in mind but it may be hard to prove they were invovled--any ideas? Anyway, thanks for your support and thanks Will for looking out for me in NC and elsewhere. --Scott John
