I'm fairly new to this hobby (about 1 year), and need two cages for my snakes (prefer neodesha, vision ect.).
I have a ball python and a Surinam boa, which I bought captive bread over the last year. I currently have them in a 29 gallon, and a 55 gallon aquariums. I want to set something up a little more convenient in terms of heating and access. I also want to be prepared for when the boa gets larger, and i would like her to have room to move (they are pets...with no intentions w/ breeding at this time...college, a fiance', military service, and working full time nix that idea for the time being!
I prefer to buy used, and save a few dollars. I have seen a number of good deals on Kingsnake.com, but, they all require pick-up. There are some nice looking new cages available, but leary of dropping 100.00s of dollars on something that I know nothing about. I have seen Melamine at Home Depot...just looks like fancy particle board to me. Am I wrong?
I have no problem travelling....but California, Oregon, New York, and Texas are a little out of my range!!! Sooo...anyone in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, or northern Florida available to help me out?!
I would really appretiate it!
Thank you,
Eric Larson
