Display: Bright 1/2" LCD display 4 weighing modes by simply pressing the "kg/lb" button on the display. Weighs in both pounds and ounces, up to 6 lb. (106 oz) in 1/10 oz. increments. EXAMPLE: You can set your scale's display to read pounds and/or ounces (i.e. the display will read 4lb. 6oz. or 70oz.) Beware, some scales only read in ounces!
Also weigh in both kilograms and grams, up to 3 kg / (3000g) in 1 gram increments. EXAMPLE: You can set the scale to display in kilograms and/or grams (i.e. the display will read 2,961 grams as 2961 g or 2kg : 961 g). See the images above for some display examples.
Hold Function: When you remove your item from the scale, would you like to have the weight of the item remain on the display? This scale features a hold function which will hold your item's weight on the display for up to 5 seconds. This is an excellent feature for packaging products for shipping and double checking your postage calculations. If your weighing an over-sized envelope simply press the "HOLD" button, the scale will capture the weight and the audible built-in speaker will "Beep, Beep" telling you the weight has been locked on the display, remove the item from the platform, and you have 5 seconds to take the reading on the display.
Tare Feature: This high quality scale also includes a special Tare feature, which allows you to measure the weight of a product in a container. The scale will subtract the weight of the container to obtain the actual weight of the product. This is a tremendous feature if you are weighing ingredients in a pot and need to weigh each individual ingredient. You can repetitively press the "TARE" button to zero out the weight on the platform providing the cumulative total weight on the platform does not exceed 3 kg.</b>
