Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Leagle Help: OK to keep crocs?

I know that I already posted about this, but I got nowhere. I was wondering if anyone knew if it is legal to keep crocodilians (specifically American Alligators) in Texas, Houston to be more precise. I looked on the parks and wildlife site, but unless I looked in the wrong place, I didn’t find any info regarding the legality of keeping them in my area. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me to find out this info. Thanks
 
Ken already posted info, but no, you can not keep alligators in the state of Texas unless you have a zoological, farmer, or educational permit, which is obtained through TPW. Other crocs species are fair game as long as you do not violate any federal or state laws in obtain them. Also, check your local laws as well, many cities prohibit crocs within the city limits.
 
Thanks for all the info guys. I don’t live in city limits so I don’t think I have to worry about the city laws.
