In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i was just looking for some info on shipping snakes at the airport since its just way to cold to ship ground what would i need to do and how do i go about it any info would be great

thanks for looking and your help

I have been using US Air Cargo for years with great success. It's very simple to do. I usually just call their 800 number (1-800-468-7247) and pre-book all of my shipments. This allows me to get an airbill number out to my customers a few days in advance.

When you call tell them that you would like to ship harmless snakes via PDQ and you are not a known shipper. You give them the two airports and the day you want and they will work out the best flight (most direct) for your shipment (you also need the consignee's name, address, and phone number). I always tell them I would like cargo to cargo instead of having to go to the counter inside the airport (I figure less chance of the box getting lost this way).

Their website has directions to the cargo facilities at each airport (http://www.usairways.com/cargo). You need to get to the cargo center 90 minutes prior to your flight with your box unsealed to they can inspect it (security measure, and usually very painless). You can pay right there or send it collect. Their customer service is always fantastic.

If you pack your box correctly with heat packs and stryo lining your snakes will do fine.

Hope this helps.

ps ... I am not sure what they do about venomous snakes, not my thing.
