In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone produced a blizzard out of tangerine lines? I'm curious to know if there is any effect on the color of the blizzard (ie, perhaps an orangish rather than banana blizzard).

next season? i can tell you right now. you get semi nice tangerines that are het for blizard. now if you breed those related hets together well what do you think youll get? blizzards.

I have had blizzards in the past that were yellow with orange tail bases. So it is quite possible that you could bring more orange color to the body as well, but it may take a few generations.

I've been working on a high orange blizzard, maybe this year I'll produce one, guess I'll see. Like Kelli said, the blizzards have shown small amounts of orange at the base fo the tail, so hopefully it can be increased to cover the body as well. All you need is some selective breeding and proper outcrossing and I think you got a chance!

blizzies

I also have a couple of blizzards with quite a bit of orange on the base of their tails... my first hatchling for the year displays this now at 1 week of age. I wasn't sure which direction to go with them... seems like most people are asking for blizzies that are pure white.

please post a pic, i would love to see one, do you have adult blizzards with carrot tails? i am thinking that the babys may have it but it fades as they mature

pics coming...

I'll get a few shots tomorrow. One of my adult females didn't develop it until she was about 6 months old... but I wouldn't call it 'carrot-tail'. It's just orange coloration at the base of the tail. I do have an awesome female patternless that is about 25-30% CT, though.

and your sure it has nothing to do with that coloration stuff everyone was talking about in the differnt thread?? i meen blizzards have transparent skin, that orange from supplemnts would show up the most in them

sorry...

I didn't get a chance to get pics today.. I like to use the sunlight from the window in my reproom, and got home too late. Vince, to answer your question regarding the supplements, I haven't started using the T-Rex stuff yet, but I ordered some.

This is a 12 month old female blizzard..... and i don't think i could sell her if i tried. Seems everyone wants a "white" blizzie.

my male

This male (Louie) is the whitest blizzard I have ever seen, and he still has a tiny 'twinge' of yellow along his sides. He is from the original "Blizzard Lizard" stock, and my females look more like Linda's girl. (Nice gecko, Linda!) Louie has only produced about 25% of his offspring that are as white as him.
