In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just had one lay at 2pm... and I use an overhead lamp for daytime heat in this particular cage. And she laid on top of the tub. :( But the eggs are fertile, just very dry....

i hope they will be alright. all my leos hve been laying eggs in the past 2 weeks, mostly durring night time hours. i dont think its up to the gecko tho. whenever they have to get those eggs out they lay them

when the fruit is ripe, it will fall from the tree...

Steve, mine lay whenever they need to... there is never a specific time of day. Hope the eggs make it!

Yeah, I just found it interesting... I have a day/night cycle and a moist hide, and this female lays her eggs at the peak of day at the highest point in the cage directly under the lamp!

maybe the moist substrate in the nest box was to cold, i had this happen to me becuse the wet soil was at the end of the cage with no heat.

mine usually lay in the early morning right after the day lightning comes on...

Mostly at night here

Are you sure they are unfertile? For most of the eggs I get it’s hard to tell if they are fertile in the first week. Sometimes they look clear/yellow for the first few days and after that you start to notice the pink and veins when candling. I know that you know your leos better than me, I was just wonder why you think the are infertile. Best of luck with you other eggs!

Of the three clutches so far:

1. 3PM
2. 4AM
3. 5AM

All three ended up in the moist hide thankfully.

Regards,

Terry
