    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

With the spawn of Hell i have noticed that it seems to showup on the main new threads ALOT. I would suggest that with that forum that you creata a user group for it , that way it can be like this one it would showup on the forums lists and maybe even make it a "hidden forum" so that only people who care to go to hell will know its there have them apply set it so they are approved where it doesnt waste your time to approve them to view and post init . when you posted about the integrity of the BOI and to make it better or change i think that out of all the things that you can do creating hell was the worst lol no offense but i would have given up a lil more power to your mods and let them lay a heavier hand down on those who abuse the boi by doing what was done to spawn hell .Im sure alot of people goto hell cause of the inquisitive nature of seeing it here .And it cant do anything good for the site.

i gotta agree "hell" seems to be the place where people fight and piss and moan........ and see who can get uglier and meaner... its like a dirk size contest and in the end whom ever has the biggest (and this being judged by who can slap the other one the most with it) wins......
"hell" lowers the integtrity...... shoot you got a ten dollar ban thingie use it.... one of two things will happen.
a.) they pay and change (even if it takes several bannings)
or
b.) they dont pay dont come back and its no skin off our backs
 
Thanks for the suggestions, but the HELL forum was put up for some reasons that may seem a bit obtuse. One of the main reasons is because I really want to see what people are coming to this site for. If they WANT that sort of crap, well maybe I should go ahead and give it to them. I can probably justify charging for entertainment much more easily than I can for providing a help resource like the BOI, I think.

Secondly, it will still serve a useful purpose. Talk about giving someone enough rope.......

So I am going to let this play out to see what happens. I certainly did not expect I would get a unanimous vote of agreement on it, but I've gotten quite used to that by now.
 
Initially I thpught that the "hell" forum was not a very good idea. So far it seems that I was wrong and it is serving a purpose. Most of the people that used to create turmoil in the BOI spend a lot of their time and energy in there. It seems they needed a playroom after all.

HELL has been good. I learned the power of the ignore function, man those threads are easier to read now :) Also learned that with the ignore function you can hold a civil conversation even with "thread hijackers" around :)
 
Heck, I can't believe that a thread actually got moved OUT of the HELL forum into the BOI! I can see why it was done, but kind of the exact opposite of what I would have expected.
