Recent changes in my schedule force me to move a significant portion of my collection starting with my remaining 2 pairs of Mainland Indian stars. These are beautiful adults with the females measuring 8 and 7 1/2 inches SCL and 1900 and 1300 grams respectively. The males each measure 5-5 1/2 inches and are around 600 grams. I have had all of these animals in my collection for at least 2 and as much as 4 years. Both females have produced fertile eggs for the past 2 seasons. Both males are aggressive/experienced breeders. I offer these for sale with great reluctance given the time of year. I have palpated eggs in both of the females and given their history it will only be 2-4 more weeks until they start laying. For some strange reason I am unable to upload pictures onto my photo album but I have many that I can email to interested parties. The prices are as follows: for the larger female (who is one of the largest and most beautiful mainland females I have seen in many years) and her mate I will take $3000. For the smaller female (also very beautiful) and her mate I will take $2750. These prices may seem steep initially but they will likely return their price in a single season. These are beautiful, healthy and flawless animals and you couldn't pick 4 better tortoises to start a mainland group with. I will only offer these for the amount of time that it takes for the females to start laying so don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested. I will consider a discounted price for both pairs.
