In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi All,

This is my first (of hopfully many) post here. I am hoping that someone will know what it is I am looking for.

I was very active in raising and breeding of fancy mice and exotic rodents and small mamals. Then in 1989 or 1990 I came across an ad in "Exotic Animals" magazine (wish they were still publishing it was a great independent mag) for what was being marketed as the Aurora Super Mouse. Well after some lengthy phone calls and a couple of letters with pics I desided to ship in 10 breeding colonies from California ( I was in Texas at the time). Needless to say I fell in love with them. This stain of mice was much larger then fancies, had big ears, and satin coats. The originals and largest were the siamese.

I worked with the Super Mice from 1990 to 1999. In 1999 I had to sell all of my animals due to some personal and health reasons. Well my health has improved greatly and my kids are know of an age where they want some pets and I want to get back into breeding. Unfortunatly, after extensively searching the internet, I can not find any indication that this line is still in existence. If anyone here knows of any breeders still working with this strain, please, please, let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff
