• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thank you for your inquiry. Some live animals may be accepted
for shipment to U.S. domestic destinations with prior approval
by UPS. The following kinds of live animals are not handled in
UPS domestic ground or air services:

Live birds (including poultry)
Live warm-blooded animals, including, but not limited to, mice,
rats, rabbits, dogs, cats, hamsters, or guinea pigs.
All snakes, poisonous and non-poisonous
Poisonous reptiles
Poisonous insects
All spiders

Please note, one time shipment of live animals is not a service
UPS is able to offer. If you have a UPS account and you are interested
in shipping a live animal that is not on the above list, please
provide us with your name, address, telephone number with area
code and UPS shipper number so that we may forward your request
to our Customer Assistance Department.

Thank you for using UPS Internet Services.

So if you do try to get shipping with them just say you are shipping non-poisonous reptiles. As far as im concerned snakes fall under this category unless you call them snakes =P.
But the prices will probably be rediculous unless you are shipping "reptiles" every day.

UPS actually doesn't charge anything to get a UPS account and become verified. They WILL ask for species information. I told them leopard geckos and they authorized me for all geckos, so who knows how much they actually use it. I don't deal snakes but you could say you will use it for geckos and actually ship snakes... but that would be wrong... :hehe:
