Hi-
Along with loving reptiles I also do dog rescue out of my home on a small scale basis. I've been fostering an 8 year old Black Lab now for about 2 months. We've been having many problems here as she doesn't get along with our current dogs. Although I think she would be fine with other dogs in a larger house with a larger back yard where each dog could have their own space. We kind of tight in here. Also, because of her size she's scaring my little kids. We've had her out in the backyard a lot as of late because of her problems and now she's bothering the neighbors dogs and barking a lot. We've been getting complaints. Again, we have a small backyard and we live in row homes where everyone is right next to each other. I think she would be fine in a larger yard, although you would need a fence for her as she can jump. She is already vetted (current on shots, heartworm negative & dewormded). I've started her on Revolution as we're in the middle of flea & tick season right now.
With all of her problems being here I can't keep her much longer. I don't want to surrender her to the local Humane Society where she will surley be killed. I rescued her from a shelter in KY to avoid this. I'm in Allentown, PA and my e-mail is:
