    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

congradulations!!!! theirs nothing better than eggs in the cooker. I too have a couple big girls that are just days away from releasing the goods. albinos and hets, she is 18.5ft long and 190...so were waiting to see how many.
also....supers and tiger retics...days away. hopefully I spelled every thing correct, I see we have a person thats wishing they had eggs in the cooker.
berm,berm,berm,berm,berm,berm,burmese this!!!

I do have eggs in the "cooker". I've currently got het. albino, albino het. green/granite, and albino granites in the incubator. I just think that if you're breeding these awesome reptiles, at the very least you should know their name. If it was a typo that's fine, but "berm" was used more than a few times in the ad.

well i cant spell that good, but i do know how to breed them.
dont be so uptight.

Sorry to hijack your ad like this, but it's something which has been discussed on this site before a few times...

The only thing people considering a purchase online have to go by is the way you carry yourself in writing, it's important to make an effort if you hope to impress potential customers with your experience, education and the quality of your animals (and the quality of care they get). That isn't to say that a smooth talking scammer can't exist, just that someone who is unable to spell the common name of the animal they claim to own leaves a lot of questions about the quality of the animals...

Herpers tend to be fairly educated individuals, maybe not always on paper but they tend to value knowledge. Since the easiest way to intitially gain knowledge of a species is to read about it and certainly more advanced knowledge and husbandry specifics will certainly be written down someplace, the spelling of an animal's name should be pretty ingrained simply from seeing it written down enough times. So by misspelling the name, you leave people questioning how much you know about the animals. You might be the worlds greatest burm breeder with the healthiest animals to ever live... But again, remember that we have nothing to judge you on except the way you write. A typo here or there, no big deal. Repeatedly misspelling the common name of a common species when it's only four letters long... Well... I hope you can see what I am trying to say without being personally offended.
