In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm looking for information regarding what the following terms describe:
50%-100% het.
simple recessive trait
proven co-dormait
ex. 1.0.0 2.0
etc.
this might be to much to explain to someone, but if someone knows where I can find this info it would be helpful.

thanx

1.2.3

The first digit is the number of males, second is females, and the third in the number of unsexed. the above would be 1 male, 2 females and 3 unsexed animals.

As far as simple recessive traits,
An albino is a homozygous simple recessive animal, meaning that it is a visual mutation.. If an albino was bred to a normal wild type animal, the offspring would all be hets, or heterozygous.
You get possible hets by breeding a heterozygous animal to a normal. They are called 50% possible hets because each animal in that clutch has a 50/50 chance of being het, but you can not visually tell the difference between the hets and normals.

Co-dom would be like pastels. the pastel being like a visual het form of a super pastel. pastel x pastel=(average of 4 eggs) you should get 1 super, 2 pastels, and 1 normal. I have seen alot of clutches defy the odds in either direction, but I find this is the easiest way to look at it.

100% het

If I tried to breed 100% het to a normal would I get half morphs and half hets or something close or am I totally off?
