    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey All,,,
I took this picture late this evening as the sun is going down,,,
What the deal is is kinda funny,,
I put a greenhouse together,, placed some of the panels in screen for airflow,, and installed a custom spray system to provide all the moisture the Chams need,, and i planned on keeping my veileds in a colony situation for the summer outdoors so they get tons of sunshine,, and they seem to love it!
but you end up with a few crickets that get on the floor of the green house and die,,, so i put a collard lizard in there to eat the crickets that get out of the chams food dish,, and he enjoyed being in there so much,, and i had no problems with inter species problems with them,, i decided to put the rest of the collards in with the chams,,, and i will be damn,, but now they are all good buddies,,,, they sit on the same limbs,, they eat at the same time,,, and in this pic , they are even getting ready to crash out within a few inches of each other,,,, if you look close the collard has his back feet kicked out relaxing,,, and the female veiled is also resting her belly on the limb,,,,
They seem to do really well together,, and it works great on keeping all the crickets eaten,,, By the way,, the collards really seem to enjoy the long mistings by the misting system through out the day,,,,
Silly critters!

i would put a ton of live plants in there if i were you. how many veileds and what sex you keeping together? by the way how much did that greenhouse cost?

i tried to stay away from the live plants. as with the continual watering it wahses the soil out of the plants, and i have the veileds trained to come down and eat out of a bowl,, they eat their greens and feeder insects from a bowl,,,
the greenhouse is like $350.00 plus the mods,,, i replaced 1/2 the celing panels with screens i made up like screen doors,, and they fit in the exact spots perfect,, i will keep the original panels for when it starts to get cool in the evening,,, i can pop them back in,, and take them out as needed,,,, as for the veileds,, it is a 1. 5 ratio,,, and they have really settled in and have there own " territory to themselves.... it would be no sweat to probably do as many as 1.8 or so,, and everyone is happy,, and they each have there own area to enjoy life,,,
