Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Tiger Retic Breeding questions

I thought that when you bred two tiger retics together you got 100% super tigers.
This is not the case.
There were 4 supers, 8 tigers and 4 normal looking retics in the clutch.
Please, someone explain these genetics to me.

Incomplete or co-dominate traits work just like ressive traits, except that in the het form they show some of the trait.Consider that a tiger retic is het for tiger and a super is the homogeneous form. So with het X het breedings 25% homogeneous 50% hets and 25% normal. Hope this helps.
 
Yes, I understand now except for one thing. The normal looking ones are just that, normals, not hets or anything. I want to be completely clear on this.

FOr a Tiger X Tiger Breeding.... I would expect

25% Super
50 % Tiger
25 % Normal

Basically you can treat the tigers as hets..... Tt super is TT normal is tt
