    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am looking for some help. I have just bought a baby cbb albino burmese and she is very aggressive. I have been spending alot of time with her as far as handling but every time I try letting go of holding her head she will bite. Any help with other methods to help call her down would be helpful.
 
apperntly its having a problem trusting you and your intentions, otherwise it would be aggressive all the time. Try just lightly touching the snake in its enclosure, were it feels safe. speaking of enclosure do you maintain all the husbandries of this snake? i know there not high maintence but do you? does it have a hide box in its cage (VERY crucial). back to touching, try and show the snake your not going to hurt it. pick it up LIGHTLY LIKE IT WAS A TIME BOMB AND YOU FEAR THAT IF YOU MOVE TO FAST YOU CAN SET IT OFF. Sorry, but once you think about it, the anlogy fits. otherwise you could have to problems, 1 is solveable but expensive and the other is a b*tch to change.
1.your snake is sick, unlikely but not at the same time beacuse while it is a CBB its still a young snake, and is prone to dieases, which will sometimes make them aggressive.Whats it eating habiats like?
2.your snake is aggressive, period.
Ever hear of and amazon tree boa? its a snake thats usally nasty by its evolution, and HATES being touched and will bite. SOME are not aggressive. This might be the case with your burms. burms, while i dont know much, are supposedly docile animals.but some are just aggressive just beacuse.

also try not to spend a lot of time handling it, leave it alone for a week or two and try the ideas i mentioned above.your snake may also just be annoyed with you.

Try putting something with your scent on it in the snakes cage eg. hat, shirt, exc.
