Just a question in general, how large does the dward caiman get? What size tank would be needed for one at adult size?
Thanks,
David D.

Paleosuchus palpebrosus 4-6 ft.
Paleosuchus trigonatus 5-7 ft.

There are exceptions of course, larger and smaller.

palpebrosus could be kept in an approx. 6-10 ft pond with equal land area.

I was curious because at the local pet store the owner has a "pet" black aligator in a very large tank in the back, maybe a 200 gallon or something of the sort..

Folks, look at the date of an ad before replying to it. This one is three years old.

Also, just a little red flag for ya- while this user has Guyana listed as a location on their profile, the posts came from an IP address well to the north of the equator- ie, Canada.
