    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If there is anything we can do for anyone coming let us know we will be glad to help out. We met alot of you at the show in Columbia 2 yrs ago but medical reasons kept us from going last year, so we are really looking forward to this year's show! Who all is planning on comming to the show?

SC Show

Danny,

Glad to see you are going to the show!! I will be there with my table and selling for the first time on the east coast. I have all of my different morphs of Cal kings and other snakes for sale. I have 4 new morphs of cal king that is not even on the market and I just named them today! They will be a big surprise and a big hit at the show. No one will have the stuff I will bring and I am really looking forward to finally getting my name out there. It was hard for me to save snakes for the show. I am usually sold out in August, but I kept things back this time and decided to go to the show!! I hatched out 581 babies this year and I only have about 175 left. So look for my banner: New Concept Reptiles and come by for a visit. It has been over a year since I seen you and the family. I look forward to seeing you again!!

Spartanburg.

I'll be going! This'll be my first expo. I can't wait! I'm not a vendor, but I'll be buying from the vendors. (If they like Ball Pythons.) Does that count? =)

Chris =)

I was wondering...how much would vendors charge to sex a Ball Python? I have an unsexed 550 gram Ball Python that I'd like to have probed. I'd do it myself, but I've never probed one before. I don't want to hurt the little guy/gal.

Thanks,
Chris =)

no long now

well it wont be long till the show. we are suppose to do some work for Tony C before and maybe during the show. I know that myself and my daughter will be helping put up fliers and stuff starting this Sun or Mon. and hope fully we will get to work the show too.

Andre, cant wait to see your new stuff. I wish that the two headed baby you had , had lived that would have been one awsome display at the show. This year we are going to try some spiders. Dont really have alot of $$ or space but wanted something that would not cost a leg and a arm(like Danny's boa...lol). And I wanted to learn about them as well as get over my/our phobey of them. We might even give you a call this week end just to chat.

Micheal, i think you should have no problem getting leaf tails. there will be guy there by the name of Justin"Shelby Reptile Ranch" he is suppose to be bring stuff from his place and from "The Lizard King". maybe you will find what you are looking for , if not maybe they can help.

Christopher, if this is your first show let me give you a little bit of advise..DON'T TAKE MONEY YOU DONT PLAN ON SPENDING... if you do YOU WILL SPEND IT! trust me on that. you will have a ball, more things to see in one place than you ever have. You may even want to take a towel so you can wipe the drool from your chin.....lol

Charlie and Randy hope to get to meet all of you there. Randy , I was raised in TR. Lived there until about 25 years ago...Dang if i keep typing i am gonna tell my age.....NOT!...lol

good advice about the $$$$! i'm pretty sure i've spent over a grand at the last two shows ive been to. as you can imagine, that's more than i expected to spend.

Well...I'm really excited about it. I'm not sure of the "house rules", though. Can I bring my own? And is there any special rules on how to carry him around? Inside a closed container, etc?

I need to bring one of my Ball Pythons to see if someone can probe it for me. I'd like to know its sex.

Also, do you think people will be selling probe kits, or should I just order one online?

Thanks,
Chris

Chris ... I have wrote down all your questions and I will be seeing Tony C this morning and will ask him . As far as getting your snake sexed i have asked a friend by the name of Andre @ New Concept Reptiles to sex your snake for you and he said he would be glad to do it. But i will check to see if he has to come outside or if you can bring it in Also will find out if anyone will have sexing probes there. It will be late tonight before I can post again because we have been putting fliers out all over Town and I will be taking a crew to Clemson U today but I will post all info I get tonight so make sure you check back for it.

Thank you very much, Cathy! That would be wonderful! I'm so glad I found this forum. Everyone's been so helpful and generous with their time. You guys rock!

Vive la Cathy!

Chris =)

Chris
no animals are allowed to be brought into the show. but they can go outside to sex your snake. I also have another friend who said he would sex your snake for you. His name is Mark from Dirty South Reptiles. either one of these guys can sex it for you outside. and yes there will be probes for sale there by a few vendors...hope this helps.

Cathy,

Thanks a bunch! I can't wait to see everything...and to find out if my favorite pet is a boy or girl! =)

Thanks Again,
Chris =)

Well...it seems I won't be able to bring my little guy/gal along for a probing. =(

Since we live 35 minutes away, my wife doesn't want to take two trips (one for probing, one for browsing). And I just can't leave him outside in the car. He wouldn't like that too much.

Maybe I can get a quick lesson from someone selling the probe kits. Who knows?

I'm sad, but hey... at least I'll be attending my first Expo! =)

Thanks A Bunch,
Chris

well, i felt a little let down today. i was looking forward to picking up at least one gecko, but for the most part geckos were lacking at the show. no uroplatus at all. i talked to justin at shelby reptile ranch, but he said they have some only theyre back in nebraska (so much for that). i went around vendor to vendor to try to find any at all, but there wasnt much in the way of geckos, except of course the leos. i saw a few crested geckos, but there were no full-sized adults. only 2 gargoyles at the whole show too. seemed like the show has become a lot more oriented towards snakes, turtles, and inverts. i wouldnt be surprised if part of the lack a variety in geckos was from the whole robbery at the other show. anyway, ill keep my fingers crossed for next year.

Well... my sister-in-law got in a small accident, so we had to visit the hospital before the show. (She's fine.) We didn't get there until almost 3:00! =(

I didn't see either of your friends there, but I did get to meet Alan Bosch. Great guy!

Everyone was sold out of probes, but I got some much needed rats from G & G Rodent, so that was a bonus.

I saw three Pastel Ball Pythons, one Spider Ball Python, and a handful of Wild Caughts. Not too many balls. I was sad.

Oh, well. Guess I'll have to travel to find a better expo. That...and try to show up on time! =)

Thanks For All Your Help,
Chris
