In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

All this stuff about enclosures is confusing me........

I'm needing 12 cages for BRB's. I am reading about these enclosures and am getting more confused. I do not have an unlimited spending account, it's actually not as much as I'd like. I'll likely have to buy cages 2 or 3 at a time over 6 months. These I'm aware of:
boaphile
animal plastics
cage crafters
visions
moonstruck
neodesha
barrs
cages by design

I think I left one out, but what others are there?
I'm even considering trying to build my own (with some instructions) out of pvc sheeting.

if there are others I haven't considered please let me know.

Thanks,
Linda

There is a new custom cage place, www.jnsdragons.com in Texas.
Their cages are wood, but the pix on their website show them as nice cages, and they are only $75 for a 4x2x2 cage. I truly wish that before I had bought cage materials to make cages that I had known about them.

Wood sucks, Neodesha is out of business, cages by design is really expensive, vision cages sag under weight, and boaphile doesn't seem to answer emails (from what I hear).

I'd go with animal plastics.

Used properly wood is just fine and less than half the price of plastic enclosures with fewer problems, Neodesha was sold, was out of business for a short time and is now back in production as I understand it, but fighting against some marketing problems (Like the fact that everyone thinks they're still out of business), Visions have a LOT more problems than just sagging, I hate them with a passion that can't be described in mere words, I've heard the same thing about Boaphile but many positives about the product itself.
