• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Orlando Reptile Show

Why? Tampa is the established show, and it's not like we need anymore in FL. Especially not on the same weekend as Tampa. I did this show last year, and it was ok. Every one of the hosts were polite and helpful. But why try and compete with the second largest show in the state? Best case senario: the two shows (which are about an hour apart) split the market. And in that senario, every vendor at both shows loses.

very good point why have two shows an hour apart why dont everyone just set up in Tampa theres no reason to have a show in Orlanda this weekend IMO, see ya at the fairgrounds

I think that your reply was prompted by a e-mail that you recieved from another promoter that had you "suprised" This thread was started by me, not by my employer. So if I have offended you by starting this post then you took it wrong.

The question was "who is going?" I AM!

I agree that there are way too many shows in Florida. I also agree that it is bad for the breeders. I also know that having 2 shows in the same weekend hurts the vendors and the promoters.

Also I am not promoting any show, nor do I set the dates, times, locations etc...

Unfortunately there are breeders that were not able to get a booth at the Tampa show.

I am going to the Orlando show because it is a lot closer for me to attend. Also there is a Venomous breeders and sminiars on how to handle them.. I find them very interesting.
